Rocky Horror Show Cast Announced!
August 25, 2011
Hello! This is Kerri. And I would like…if I may…to take you on a strange journey….
I want to thank you all for auditioning for the Edge Theatre Company’s 2011 production of Richard O’Brien’s the Rocky Horror Show. I am honored to have been able to meet so many people this week and hear such great voices and witness all that talent. But, I have to admit, it was much harder to narrow things down and choose roles than I thought it would be. And so…after much (and I mean MUCH) deliberation and consideration, I shall now relieve your antici……
….pation. This is the cast lineup as I see it.
Our first–and pretty much mandatory–rehearsal meeting will be this Sunday evening 8/28 at 7pm at South Pointe High School. If you didn’t pick up a rehearsal schedule at auditions, I will have copies on Sunday. You will receive a rehearsal cd from our musical director, Randy Price; you will be fitted and costumes discussed with our costume designer, Cecilia Boles; and you will meet our choreographer, Stephanie Zayas. We will go over the logistics, expectations, get to know one another, work through my OCD a little bit, and then prepare to thrill, chill, and fulfill the Carolinas with the best show ever!
Narrator: Garrett Marks
Magenta: Kitty Beard
Columbia: Ramsey Lyric
Riff Raff: Dennis Dejesus
Eddie/Dr. Scott: Phil Calabro
Brad Majors: Brandon DiMatteo
Janet Weiss: Maggie Monahan
Rocky: Ryan Hilton
Frank N. Furter: Bryan Green
Phantoms: Patricia Clark, Courtney Williams, Allison Zobel, Dody Gaston, Stephanie Zayas, Amber Westbrook, Ann Marie Calabro, Morgan Overcash, Caitlyn O’Connor, Kerri Marks, Elizabeth Dial
Congratulations!! You all made a huge impression on me and I’m very excited about working with each and every one of you on this production!!
